Kecak, Fire Dance & Dinner Tour

Journey to Bali would not be completed without seeing some of the island?s many colorful traditional dances. A visit to Batubulan will give you opportunity to enjoy the variation of dances.

Kecak Dances
Featuring chorus by 50 or more male performers, who chant rhythmically in a circle, accompanied by there swaying movements. These male performer?s chants provide an orchestral accompaniment and created a living circular stage to the dancers re-enacting the well known Hindu epic poem, the Ramayana Flickering torches provides an eerie lighting.

The Fire Dances
It is also called Sahyang Jaran (horse) performed by a man in trance, who rides a kind of hobbyhorse over red hot coals, while exhibiting characteristic horse-like sounds and movements.

After watching the colorful dances you will be taken to dinner at a remarkable restaurant on the way to hotel.(meals on your own expenses).

East Bali & Karangasem Tours

This tour starts the first stop at Kerta Gosa, the former Courts of Justice in Klungkung which date back to the 18th century. Interesting illustrations can be seen on the ceilings which portray the visions of heaven and hell. We continue along the east cost to fishing village of Kusamba . Here the beaches are from the black lava sand sparkling like sapphires in the mid-day sun. here the locals have their home industry of salt panning and of course fishing. Along the beaches the colorful fishing boats are standing at the ready of their daily fishing trip.

We visit the eerie bat caves of Goa Lawah where we see the walls covered with thousands of bats which haunt the caves. The cave is considered to be holy and is protected with a shrine and temple at the entrance. Traditions have not changed over the centuries in Bali ?Aga? village of Tenganan . Here the villagers weave the famous gringsing sarongs which are said to have special powers for the wearer. A rest for lunch will be in Candidasa (not included) before going on to the royal bathing polls of Tirtagangga where the waters are believed to be pure and sacred.

Hidden Track of Bali

We will take you to experience the hidden back-country roads of this amazing island, far from the bustling roads that you have already seen, showcasing some of Bali most beautiful scenery. And everyday Balinese lifestyle in tiny villages along the road. Fascinating rice terraces, plantation of cacao, coffee, coconut and banana as well as tropical vegetables will be part of the scenery you will see during this trip through the mountain area to the Northern part of Bali.
Our first stop will be the Sangeh Monkey Forest and through Batunya village that renown for its tropical vegetable plantation, we will visit Lake Beratan where delightful Ulun Danu Temple is located. The temple is set on a small promontory on the shores of the Lake Beratan , home to the Goddes of waters, Danu, who believed to control the island?s irrigation system.
We will make a stop to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Lake Tamblingan . After lunch (personal account) we will drive to a place that show you the traditional method of making the ever famous balinese coffee.

Ubud in the Evening

THE ENCHANTING EVENING AT UBUD
Spend an evening in Ubud, Bali's most artistic village and 2010 best village city in Asia. It takes few hours time to wander around the galleries and craft shops and have dinner for Balinese food is the best in Ubud with a very wide selections, in many of the charming local restaurants before going to watch one of the cultural performance. Classical Legong Dance (Monday & Saturday)
Selection of 5 or 6 enchanting Balinese short dances, usually including of dramatic Baris dance (a dance of war, strongly masculine and yet at the same time dispays intense sensitivity of feeling in its myriad of moods and expression)

Ramayana Ballet ( Tuesday )
A classical dance performance, re-enacting part of Hindu poem epic, the Ramayana story.

Wayang Kulit (Sunday & Wednesday)
Shadow puppet performances, portraying scenes from Hindu Epic i.e Mahabharata Story or other Indian epics.
